Motorboat or kayak
Hire a motorboat or a kayak and experience the Vega archipelago with thousands of islands, holmes and rocks. 2009 biggest catch: 19 halibuts, the biggest two of 25 and 26 kg. Biggest cod fish: 14 kg. Biggest catfish: 6 kg. Biggest catch of the day: approx. 200 kg.
Day excursions or overnight stops
In the Vega archipelago you can spend the night in the restored fishing village of Bremstein, in Lånan, one of Norway's largest fishing villages where they also harvest eggs and down of eider ducks or the restored boarding school of Skogsholmen andr the fishing village of Hysvær with accomodation and food.
